To laugh is to risk appearing the fool

To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.

To reach out to another is to risk involvement

To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self.

To place your ideas, your dreams before the crowd is to risk their loss

To love is to risk not being loved in return,

To live is to risk dying

To try is to risk failure

But the risk must be taken, because the greater hazard in life is to risk nothing

The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, is nothing.

He may avoid suffering and sorrow

but he simply cannot learn, feel, change or live

Chained by his servitude he is a slave who has forfeited all freedom.

Only a person who risks is free.

The pessimist complains about the wind;

The optimist expects it to change;

And the realist adjusts the sails."

尝试就有失败的危险

但是我们必须要冒险，因为更大的危险是不敢冒险

那些一味安逸的人，同时也一事无成，一无所有，一无是处。

他也许会少吃些苦，但是却永远无法学习、感知、体会或者生活

他是一个被自己的信念锁住的奴隶，永远被剥夺了自由

只有冒险的人永远自由

悲观者抱怨风向

乐观者期待改变

现实者调整航向
